He trained at the Ivo Pitanguy Institute, one of the most respected schools of aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery in the world. Following the family path, he trained alongside his father, Dr. Mario Nahon, and his uncle, Dr. Milton Nahon, both plastic surgeons.
He graduated from Universidade Estácio de Sá, trained in general surgery at Hospital Municipal Francisco da Silva Telles and then took his postgraduate training in plastic surgery at the Ivo Pitanguy Institute.
He completed two fellowships in the United States in facial surgery and rhinoplasty with Dr. Rod Rohrich, as well as the Dallas rhinoplasty course organised by the same group.
He works in private practice and as a member of staff of the Plastic Surgery Service at Hospital Federal de Ipanema, and is scientific adviser to Lacipes, the plastic surgery student society at Universidade Estácio de Sá.
He takes part regularly in the main national and international congresses, having spoken at several of them, including a presentation on facial surgery and procedures in Istanbul, Turkey.
